From download
to first query.
All published exports are available without an account or an API key.
1. Choose an export
The observation export contains one day of hourly values for twelve simulated stations. Join it with the station register using station_id.
2. Read the CSV
import csv
from urllib.request import urlopen
from io import TextIOWrapper
# Replace PORTAL_ORIGIN with this site's scheme and hostname.
url = PORTAL_ORIGIN + "/downloads/station-observations.csv"
with urlopen(url) as response:
rows = list(csv.DictReader(TextIOWrapper(response)))
print(rows[0])3. Interpret the fields
timestamp_utc: observation time in UTC, ISO 8601 format.station_id: stable demonstration station identifier.temperature_c: synthetic temperature in degrees Celsius.quality_flag: see the quality flag reference.
Integration diagnostics
Open a catalog integration diagnostic to inspect a connection-specific synthetic release manifest. Submit only its reference values; no local files or credentials are needed.
Release behavior
This demonstration release is a fixed snapshot. It does not provide live monitoring, authentication, or a write API. Missing resources return an ordinary not-found response once served by the host.
